Final Renders

Here's four of the final images rendered for my presentation. Hopefully they do the scheme justice, it's pretty hard to tell how good/bad/irrelevent anything is when you've been staring at it this long. I think they're okay at this scale, but boy do they look huge on an A0 board.

Next Attempt

Looking a little better in this one. Not quite as stylised as I was hoping but certainly an improvement.

Water Render...

...didn't quite work as well as hoped. Back to the drawing board!

Elevations

These are about 90% finished, still a few things to tweek but more or less there.

Testing Presentation Styles

Generally running out of time in this project, but beginning a few tests of how to present my 3D model. This on is a combination of a basic sketchup outline with a properly rendered model.

Still very rough around the edges, only intended as a sort of 'proof of concept'.

My first attempt at photomatching the model onto the site.

Precedent: Terry Pawson Architects

More inspiration, although these came far later in the design development. These are from the Terry Pawson Architects website, which I hadn't looked at in a while and I was really taken with some of the more recent schemes on show. I love the austerity of the buildings, very reminiscent of Chipperfield (more of that to come later).
